How many people does each cabin sleep?
Each cabin has a king-size bed, sleeping a maximum of 2 people.
What is the size of each cabin?
Each cabin is 208 sq ft. Each site has approximately 1 acre of private outdoor space, strategically spaced out for as much privacy as possible up on the ridge.
What does each cabin come stocked with?
4 towels & bed linens. Coffee Maker & Hot Water Kettle. 2 burner electric stovetop (no oven or microwave). Mini fridge. Cookware & basic pantry supplies. Full bath w/ walk-in shower. Small indoor dining table w/ bench seating. Outdoor lounge chairs. Firepit + fire making supplies. Private hot tub. Soaps & cleaning supplies. Head lamps. Hair Dryer. Games and books. A/C & Heat via Mini split.
Do you have Wifi or TV’s available?
Retreat North is designed to help you unplug! We do not have Wifi or TV’s. Cell service is generally strong on the ridge (where the cabins are located), and most guests can use their personal hotspot for browsing or streaming.
Can I book all 4 cabins?
You can! However, booking is first come, first served, so please plan ahead if you have a group!
What months is Retreat North open?
Retreat North is open seasonally from April through October.
Are pets allowed?
While we love our furry friends, unfortunately, in consideration of guest allergies & our cleaning team, we do not allow pets.
Where is Retreat North located?
Retreat North is centrally located between Charlevoix, Bellaire, Elk Rapids, Boyne City & more in East Jordan, Michigan! We are a few miles from the incomparable Jordan River & the 100+ miles of the Chain of Lakes water trail. Everything you need and want is 30 minutes or less away!
Are food or drinks complimentary?
You betcha! Complimentary coffee & basic pantry items are provided to all guests.
What are the shared amenities like?
Guests can enjoy a moderately challenging trail down the ravine to Cokir’s Creek (a tributary of the Jordan River) + an 8 person Sauna and small cold plunge tub (self fill & drain). Public walking/running/biking is available on the main paved road (E Old State Rd).
